Welcome to my site!
You’ll find my pages full of information about my books, pictures from some of the locations of the stories, access to my new blog, connections to other interesting sites, and notes from me about writing, reading, and living a purposeful life. I’ve been writing twenty years or so, with the last ten devoted to writing The Mogi Franklin Mystery series – a number of medium-length mystery and adventure novels that involve Mogi Franklin, a fourteen year-old eighth grader who’s a brainy introvert that can't turn away from a good mystery, and his sister, Jennifer, a seventeen year-old high school junior who also loves mysteries, but not quite with the level of adventure that her brother drags her into. All the books will keep you up at night.
I’m going to share a lot of stuff on this website about writing, reading, thinking, and such, and hope that I’ll have something for everybody. I’m especially looking forward to sharing my ideas with you about being young (and old), about the landscapes that we see every day (I can’t help it – I live in New Mexico where spirits come alive), about the history of the Southwest, and the good and bad things about all of us living together while separated by different cultures and cultural identities.
I hope you’ll correspond! I’ll have a lot in my blog posts, but would love to answer questions or respond to your ideas, too.
